1. ACCEPTANCE OF TERMS
By accessing our website, registering for programs, or using any services provided by EMME Consulting Inc. (“we,” “us,” “our,” or “the Company”), you agree to be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree to these terms, please do not use our services or website.
These terms apply to all users of our website and services, including participants, parents, guardians, community partners, and casual visitors.
2. DEFINITIONS
“Services” includes all soccer programs, tournaments, camps, training sessions, events, and related activities provided by the Company.
“Participant” means any individual registered for or attending our programs or services.
“Parent/Guardian” means the legal parent or guardian of a participant under 18 years of age.
“Programs” includes all soccer training, tournaments, camps, clinics, and related activities offered by the Company.
“Website” refers to our official website and any associated online platforms or social media accounts.
3. PROGRAM REGISTRATION
Eligibility
- Programs are open to children aged 5-18 unless otherwise specified
- Participants must meet age requirements for their selected programs
- Parents/guardians must provide accurate information during registration
- Medical clearance may be required for participants with health conditions
Registration Process
- Registration is completed through our website or authorized third-party platforms
- All required forms and information must be submitted before program participation
- Registration is not guaranteed until payment is received and processed
- We reserve the right to refuse registration for any reason
Capacity Limitations
- Programs have limited capacity and fill on a first-come, first-served basis
- Wait lists may be established for popular programs
- Alternative program options may be offered if preferred programs are full
4. PAYMENT TERMS
Program Fees
- All fees must be paid in full at the time of registration unless payment plans are specifically offered
- Prices are subject to change without notice for future programs
- Current pricing is available on our website and registration materials
- Fees include instruction, facility usage, and basic program materials unless otherwise specified
Payment Methods
- We accept credit cards, debit cards, e-transfers, and other payment methods as indicated during registration
- Payment processing is handled through secure third-party platforms
- Processing fees may apply depending on payment method selected
- Receipts will be provided electronically upon successful payment
Late Payments
- Late payment fees may apply to outstanding balances
- Access to programs may be suspended until payment is received
- Continued non-payment may result in dismissal from programs without refund
5. CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
Company Cancellations
- If the Company cancels a program, participants will receive a full refund or credit toward future programs
- Refunds will be processed within 14 business days of cancellation
- The Company reserves the right to cancel programs due to insufficient enrollment or other circumstances
Participant Cancellations
More than 14 days before program start:
- Full refund minus $25 administrative fee
7-14 days before program start:
- 50% refund of program fees
Less than 7 days before program start:
- No refund provided
After program begins:
- No refund for missed sessions or early withdrawal
Exceptions
- Medical emergencies with documentation may be considered for partial refunds on a case-by-case basis
- Relocation or family emergencies may be considered for credits toward future programs
- All refund requests must be submitted in writing to [email address]
Transfer Policy
- Program transfers to another participant may be permitted with advance notice and approval
- Transfer requests must be submitted at least 7 days before program start
- A $15 administrative fee applies to approved transfers
6. ATTENDANCE AND PARTICIPATION
Attendance Requirements
- Regular attendance is expected and benefits participant development
- Participants missing multiple sessions may be contacted to ensure program suitability
- No refunds are provided for missed sessions due to personal circumstances
Arrival and Pickup
- Participants should arrive 10 minutes before scheduled program start time
- Parents/guardians must pick up participants promptly at program conclusion
- Repeated late pickups may result in additional fees or program dismissal
Program Schedule Changes
- Program schedules may be adjusted due to facility availability or weather conditions
- Changes will be communicated as soon as possible via email or phone
- Make-up sessions will be offered when feasible for company-initiated changes
7. CODE OF CONDUCT
Participant Expectations
Participants are expected to:
- Demonstrate respect toward coaches, staff, officials, and fellow participants
- Follow facility rules and safety guidelines at all times
- Use appropriate language and behavior
- Wear proper athletic attire and equipment
- Make honest effort and display positive sportsmanship
Parent/Guardian Expectations
Parents and guardians are expected to:
- Support coaches and staff in their instruction and decisions
- Refrain from coaching from the sidelines during sessions
- Model positive behavior and sportsmanship
- Communicate concerns respectfully and through proper channels
- Ensure timely arrival and pickup of participants
Disciplinary Actions
Violations of the code of conduct may result in:
- Verbal warning and discussion with participant/parent
- Temporary suspension from program activities
- Permanent dismissal from programs without refund
- Involvement of law enforcement for serious violations
8. HEALTH AND SAFETY
Medical Information
- Parents/guardians must disclose relevant medical conditions, allergies, and medications during registration
- Emergency contact information must be kept current at all times
- Participants with specific health needs should provide written care instructions
Injury and Medical Treatment
- In case of injury or medical emergency, staff will provide basic first aid and contact emergency services if necessary
- Parents/guardians will be notified immediately of any injuries or medical incidents
- The Company is not responsible for medical expenses resulting from injuries during programs
- Participants should have appropriate health insurance coverage
Health Requirements
- Participants should not attend programs if experiencing illness or contagious conditions
- Fever-free for 24 hours before returning to programs
- Current immunizations as required by provincial health authorities
Assumption of Risk
By participating in programs, participants and parents/guardians acknowledge that:
- Soccer involves inherent risks including but not limited to falls, collisions, and injuries
- Participants voluntarily assume these risks
- The Company has taken reasonable precautions but cannot eliminate all risks
- Participants should be in appropriate physical condition for athletic activity
9. EQUIPMENT AND FACILITIES
Required Equipment
- Participants must wear appropriate athletic clothing and footwear
- Shin guards are mandatory for all soccer activities
- Personal equipment should be labeled with participant’s name
- The Company is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal items
Facility Usage
- Participants must follow all facility rules and regulations
- Facilities are for program use only during scheduled times
- Parents/guardians and participants must respect facility property
- Damage to facility property may result in financial responsibility
Company Equipment
- Company equipment is provided for program use only
- Equipment must be used properly and returned after each session
- Damaged or lost company equipment may result in replacement charges
10. PHOTOGRAPHY AND MEDIA
Program Photography
- The Company may take photographs and videos during programs for promotional and educational purposes
- Images may be used on our website, social media, and marketing materials
- Participants will not be identified by full name without additional consent
- Parents/guardians may opt out of photography by notifying us in writing
Personal Photography
- Parents/guardians may photograph their own children during programs
- Photography of other participants requires respect for privacy and consent
- Images should not be shared publicly without permission from other parents/guardians
- Professional photography or videography requires advance approval
11. WEATHER AND CANCELLATION PROCEDURES
Weather Policies
- Outdoor programs may be cancelled or modified due to severe weather conditions
- Indoor alternatives will be provided when possible and appropriate
- Lightning, severe wind, or extreme temperatures may require program suspension
Notification Procedures
- Weather-related cancellations will be communicated at least 2 hours before program start when possible
- Emergency weather decisions may be made with shorter notice
- Participants should monitor email and phone for weather updates
Make-Up Sessions
- Cancelled sessions will be rescheduled when possible within the program period
- If rescheduling is not possible, prorated refunds or credits may be provided
- Participants are not guaranteed make-up sessions for programs they miss due to personal reasons
12. LIABILITY AND INDEMNIFICATION
Limitation of Liability
- The Company’s liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by law
- We are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages
- Maximum liability shall not exceed the amount paid for services
- Participants assume responsibility for their own actions and safety
Participant Indemnification
By participating in our programs, participants and parents/guardians agree to:
- Indemnify and hold harmless the Company from claims arising from participation
- Release the Company from liability for injuries or damages during normal activities
- Assume responsibility for their own actions and any resulting consequences
Third-Party Claims
- The Company is not responsible for claims involving third-party services or facilities
- Participants must address issues with third-party providers directly
- Our liability does not extend to actions of independent contractors or partner organizations
13. PRIVACY AND DATA PROTECTION
Information Collection
- Personal information collection and use is governed by our Privacy Policy
- Information is collected only for legitimate business purposes
- Data security measures are implemented to protect participant information
Consent Requirements
- Registration constitutes consent to information collection and use as described in our Privacy Policy
- Additional consent may be required for photography, marketing communications, or special programs
- Consent may be withdrawn with appropriate notice, though this may affect service delivery
Data Retention
- Personal information is retained only as long as necessary for program delivery and legal requirements
- Information is securely destroyed when no longer needed
- Participants may request access to their personal information through proper channels
14. FORCE MAJEURE
Uncontrollable Circumstances
The Company is not liable for failure to perform obligations due to circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including:
- Natural disasters, severe weather, or environmental conditions
- Government regulations, public health orders, or legal restrictions
- Labor disputes, facility closures, or utility failures
- Acts of terrorism, war, or civil unrest
Response Procedures
In case of force majeure events:
- Alternative arrangements will be made when possible
- Participants will be notified of changes as soon as reasonably possible
- Refunds or credits may be provided based on circumstances and timing
- The Company will make reasonable efforts to minimize disruption to participants
15. DISPUTE RESOLUTION
Informal Resolution
- Concerns should first be addressed directly with Company staff
- Good faith efforts will be made to resolve issues through discussion and compromise
- Written complaints may be submitted for formal review and response
Formal Procedures
If informal resolution is unsuccessful:
- Disputes may be submitted to mediation through qualified mediators
- Arbitration may be required for certain types of disputes
- Legal action must be initiated within one year of the disputed event
Governing Law
- These terms are governed by the laws of Alberta, Canada
- Disputes will be resolved in the courts of Alberta
- Canadian law takes precedence over any conflicting foreign laws
16. GENERAL PROVISIONS
Entire Agreement
- These Terms and Conditions, along with our Privacy Policy and program-specific agreements, constitute the entire agreement between participants and the Company
- Previous agreements or understandings are superseded by these terms
Modification of Terms
- These terms may be updated at any time with notice posted on our website
- Continued use of services after changes constitutes acceptance of modified terms
- Significant changes may be communicated directly to registered participants
Severability
- If any provision of these terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full effect
- Invalid provisions will be modified to the minimum extent necessary to make them enforceable
Assignment
- These terms are binding on participants, parents/guardians, and their heirs or assigns
- The Company may assign these terms in connection with business transfers or reorganizations
- Participants may not assign their rights or obligations without written consent

18. ACKNOWLEDGMENT AND AGREEMENT
By registering for programs, using our website, or participating in any Company services, you acknowledge that:
- You have read and understood these Terms and Conditions
- You agree to be bound by all provisions contained herein
- You understand your rights and responsibilities as a participant
- You consent to the collection and use of information as described in our Privacy Policy
- You acknowledge the inherent risks associated with soccer activities
- You agree to the dispute resolution procedures outlined above
For participants under 18 years of age, a parent or legal guardian must agree to these terms on their behalf.
